Both Sara Gee’s and Rambling Matt’s life experiences are reflected in their music, either Mateo mastering his blues in different parts of the world or Sara forming herself as a vocalist and guitar player in Formentera. Their journey together began in June 2013 when they first met in a jam-session in Valencia and ever since have performed over 300 gigs and published seven long play albums.
Sara and Matt are declared lovers of the classic sounds of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s with a dynamic line up of musicians with a long and solid career in American Roots Music, Blues, Country and Rock n Roll. They write their own compositions which they altérnate in their performances with covers of Robert Johnson, Bessie Smith, Howlin Wolf, Bob Dylan, Wanda Jackson, Ida Cox, Delbert McClinton, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams or Janis Joplin to mention a few.
