Agustí Mas is a blues guitarist with an acknowledged trajectory on the Barcelona scene. He has played with most important local blues musicians such as Amadeu Casas, Lluís Coloma, Rafa Escoté, Kitflus, Ignasi Zamora, Roger Blàvia and a long etc.
At an international level he has performed and recorded with Peter King, Jim Mullen and Buddy Whittington. He is one of the few musicians in our country who has played at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s in London.
Agustí Mas’ new project was created after the need to put a band together to support Matt Schofield first and then Jim Mullen in 2018. The result of the group’s assembly was so satisfactory that he decided to keep it as a stable band.
After Jim Mullen’s last visit to Barcelona in 2019, he took the opportunity to record some songs live with him and the new band and some songs in the studio at first take, almost a live recording too.
