Memphis Bound

Memphis Bound is a project created by some of the most experienced musicians in the Valencian blues scene. A quartet that travels with its sounds through the electric blues of Chicago, Texas or the West Coast.

Guitarist Germán Elul has a large journey leading various jazz, blues, latin, pop, etc. groups in Alicante, Castellón and Valencia. He has participated in different Jazz-blues festivals such as the Benicàssim Blues Festival and others with various formations and bands.

Danny Boy is one of the great Spanish harmonica players with a remarkable recognition among his fellow musicians. Among his works, the album “Spanish Blues Harp Attack” (2003) stands out, recorded with Mingo Balaguer and Ñaco Goñi, led him to participate in festivals of the importance of BluesCazorla or BejarBlues.

Fran Moreno, on bass, is a veteran of the blues scene in the city of Valencia. He stands out for his solid Chicagoan bass groove and has shared the stage with artists such as Magic Slim or Koko Taylor.

John Craver’s drumming skills are solid as a rock, a fine stylist and impeccable when it comes to playing the blues. He is a Californian currently living in Valencia, who has been active for the last 25 years on the Santa Cruz (California) blues circuit, accompanying iconic early figures of the genre such as Rick Estrin, Mark Hummel or Gary Smith at festivals and venues.
